WebJan 4, 2008 · The 305 has the same stroke as a 350. Aside from that I've read that 307's usually have more or faster bore wear due to the alloy in the block. All things being equal the 305 probably makes power a bit lower due to it's longer stroke. I know that people do put 400 cranks in them, with the mains cut down.
