As Dave pointed out above the vertical movement of the swingarm is all in the rubber and not between the spindle and the metal bushings. I could not budge the nuts until I loosened the threaded pins with a hex (Allen) key. Presumably, the nut/pin combination locks the two items together as well as locking the pin in place at the desired position. list of perfume companies
