Web23 okt. 2015 · I first tried replacing the bottom board, and moving the original bottom board, complete with comb, bees, honey and pollen some distance away from the hive. I figured the bees would find their way back to the hive, and rob out the honey in the combs left on the original bottom board bringing it back to the hive with them. WebWhen the main honey flow and swarming season starts, the queen is transferred to the lower brood chamber and the Queen Trap System is placed on top of it. It provides an entrance with a landing board for the bees between the two lowermost boxes. A closing board is used to permanently close the entrance in the bottom board.
